Vera Moritz

Vera Moritz attended Drury University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. In 2014 she earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from the St. Louis University School.
Vera’s practice is focused on estate planning, probate avoidance, guardianship/conservatorships, elder law litigation and business law. Prior to joining Ozarks Elder Law, Vera practiced with a local law firm where she gained invaluable litigation experience handling contested matters in and out of the courtroom. In addition, Vera was a staff attorney with Legal Services of Southern Missouri where she advocated for the elderly and counseled on estate planning and probate matters, including guardianships and conservatorships.
Since joining Ozarks Elder Law, she has continued to help ensure those in need receive necessary legal services through her work on the Judicare Panel at Legal Services of Southern Missouri. Vera’s passion for advocacy is also demonstrated through her volunteer work as a victim advocate for The Victim Center. Vera is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Oklahoma. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Missouri Chapter of NAELA.
She is also a member of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association. In her free time, Vera enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and three children at the lake, fishing and kayaking.
