Kathleen Bly
Attorney
Kathleen is from Springfield, Missouri, where she graduated summa cum laude from Drury University in 2009. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in International Political Studies, Kathleen attended the University of Arkansas, School of Law.
During law school, Kathleen was a judicial extern for the Honorable M.A. Gunn (Circuit Judge) in Fayetteville, Arkansas; a research assistant for Professor Robert B. Moberly; and a student attorney in the Immigration Law Clinic. Kathleen was also a violinist in the Arkansas Philharmonic. In 2012, Kathleen received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arkansas, School of Law, and was awarded the M. Jeff Starling Jr. Award (Labor and Employment Law).
After law school, Kathleen returned to Springfield and practiced law in the areas of Social Security Disability and Family Law. While practicing family law, Kathleen served as Guardian Ad Litem representing children in abuse and neglect cases. Since joining Ozarks Elder Law, Kathleen’s area of practice focuses on Estate Planning and Probate. Kathleen is an active member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, and Southern Missouri Women Lawyers. As an attorney, Kathleen has provided legal counsel and representation to hundreds of clients and their families in the Ozarks. Over the years, Kathleen has volunteered throughout the Ozarks and has served in ministry and chaplaincy.
